Solar Street and Parking Lot Lighting Project Completed in 2023

In 2023, Prodigital Technology Corp. completed the installation of solar-powered street lights and solar parking lot lights in a public park. The goal was to reduce long-term energy use and simplify maintenance by replacing existing LED lights with solar options.

Due to the presence of trees and shaded areas, we selected solar street lights with separate panels. These allow optimal solar panel placement to capture sunlight more effectively. A total of 26 split-type solar lighting units were installed, each including high-efficiency LED lamps, photovoltaic panels, MPPT solar inverters, and long-life batteries.

We offer various types of Dusk to Dawn solar street lights, solar street lights with motion sensor, and outdoor solar lights without motion sensor. These are suitable for streets, walkways, car parks, and general outdoor spaces.

For a 30m x 30m (900m²) parking lot, the recommended layout uses one light every 10 meters. In this case, we installed 12 all-in-one 200W solar car park lights to meet the lighting needs of the space.

Though the initial cost for solar lighting is higher than traditional systems, the benefits include reduced electricity costs, fewer maintenance requirements, and long-lasting components. Our lights are built to last—with LED lifespans of over 50,000 hours, solar panel durability over 20 years, and batteries capable of over 6,000 discharge cycles.
